I'm Done at Amigo Blog 4 (Pt. 1)
Hey everyone!
Sorry for the delay but I finally got something that I've been wanting to share with you since the beginning of summer. Trust me, it is worth the time it took.
But before I get to that, I want to just talk quickly about one last thing from Amigo and my blog. With all the changes going on, I feel it is best that this is my last blog until things are figured out. I hope you have enjoyed this blog as much as I have, and I hope to be able to continue it.
During the orientation week for staff, we did many co-op activities. Co-op is anything where you have to work together to accomplish a goal. The one that challenged me the most was the trust wall. Imagine a 15 or so foot wall that is flat with no grips. The idea, if you haven't guessed it yet, is to get all of your teamates over the wall one at a time. I am not a big fan of heights in general so I was a bit nervous to begin with...ok...alot nervous. When it was finally decided that it was my turn I decided that I had to go through with it. Not that I would be afraid of what the other staff would say, but that I needed to trust those around me because I would be working with them for the next six weeks.
Well, I am still here so I made it over and what a relief it was! Trust is something that can never be overlooked. Everything we do in life is built around it. This is especially true with God. Every moment of everyday we need to put our trust and faith in him.
So, how did this look when Christ was around? This is where I bring in what I mentioned earlier. A coworker of mine wrote out her vision of what Peter might have said about his own life. It also shows how we must remember that God still trusts in us when we make mistakes.
I'm going to put it in a seperate blog post so as to make this one not too long.
Until next time,
Trevor
